ABSTRACT
The article reports that retail trade executive Steve Fishman is headed to textile industry firm Big Lots Inc. as chairman, CEO and president. He will join the company In July. Fishman will replace Michael Potter, who in January announced his intention to step down as CEO in order to relocate his family back to the West Coast. Potter will resign from the board of directors with Fishman's arrival. Since last year, Fishman has served as president, CEO and chief restructuring officer at furnishings firm Rhodes Furniture Co., which is completing a reorganization under Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
