The article reports that registration for the 19th annual NGN conference, NGN2005, is open at www.bcr.com/ngn/register.php. NGN's proud history has given it a well-deserved reputation as the "must-attend" event for anyone charged with setting network strategy and direction, and for those who need to know what will shape both public and enterprise networks over the next two to five years and beyond. The conference is scheduled to be held from September 26 to 30, 2005 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington D.C. The past few years have been among the most tumultuous, and now the shape of the industry's competitive landscape is being redesigned again. The transition to wireless everywhere, the integration of voice and video into IP networks and the massive wave of consolidation among both carriers and equipment vendors combine to make NGN 2005 the most important event of the year. No other event delivers the quality of information, debate and contacts that the NGN conference does each year.
