ABSTRACT
The article provides information on studies on international and comparative industrial relations being conducted at various universities. The relationship between trade unions and political parties in several Latin American countries exploring the impact of the relationship on national politics and national economic policy, with particular attention to the strategies and programs for growth and stabilization that are adopted in different settings for union-party relations is the topic of the study by David Collier of Berkeley University. Solomon Polachek of Binghamton University is testing microeconomic models of international conflict and cooperation using a cross-sectional database.
