ABSTRACT
The article focuses on some constructive ideas for enriching a child's block and building play. The structures the child creates with blocks reflect his creativity, problem-solving skills, and understanding of basic math and geometry concepts. Few toys are as versatile, or as important to the child's learning, as blocks. Science, planning, and logical reasoning merge when children design a fast track for marbles. Providing a variety of building supplies and props, such as plastic animals and toy cars, deepens the meaning of play.
