ABSTRACT
The article offers an overview of ongoing research about politics, government and industrial relations. A research on New York City municipal government is being undertaken by Raymond Horton. The effects of firm concentration and labor unions in the construction industry on municipal building codes are being examined by Eli Noam. The doctoral dissertation of John Palmer Smith examines the delivery of municipal services in New York City.
