ABSTRACT
The article presents information on passing of policy servers, a key component of PackerCable Multimedia (PCMM) architecture, in certification wave 34 from CableLabs Inc. Other vendors who passed the PCMM qualification test from CableLabs Inc. include CableMatrix Technologies Inc., Camiant Inc., C-COR Inc., Tazz Networks and Telairdia. For functionality within its flagship BSR 64000 cable modem termination system Motorola Inc. has also received PCMM qualification certificate. It was very unusual as a number of vendors have obtained passing grades from CableLabs Inc. for first time through official testing process.
