ElectriPHY chips in on low-cost VDSL

The article presents information on the launch of Very High bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL) chipsets by ElectriPHY Corp. It is promised by ElectriPHY Corp. that this platform will give VDSL performance at the cost of Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) 2+. This chipsets have been released as Phybrwire series. ElectriPHY Corp. According to Jay Aggarwal, marketing director, ElectriPHY Corp., low price of these chipset is due to the factor that the company has used IP technology instead of ATM technology which reduced die size and power consumption.
