ABSTRACT
This article reports that the band Alison Krauss & Union Station are bringing their bluegrass musical stamp to theaters across the U.S. The journal "Mix" caught up with the tour at the Berkeley Community Theater in Berkeley, California in mid-March 2005. Monitor engineer Mark Richards says that mixing this bond is a dream come true. He says that he grew up in Western North Carolina where bluegrass and old-time music really matter to people. He had seen Krauss and the guys when he first started doing his work at MerleFest in North Corolina.
