ABSTRACT
The article presents news from the field of legal services. DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has appointed three corporate finance associates from Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester. Welsh firm Hugh James has strengthened its commercial property team with the hire of a new partner, Penny Cranston, from Capital Law. Scottish firm Anderson Strathern has elected Robert Carr as its new chairman. Carr, a dispute resolution partner, will replace incumbent Alan Menzies when he steps down on May 1, 2005 after nearly nine years in the role.
