FX Networks taps Landgraf as new chief

The article reports that John Landgraf has been promoted to president and general manager of FX Networks; parent company News Corp. said last Tuesday. Currently president of entertainment at the cable channel, Landgraf was widely expected to replace Peter Liguori, who was named president of Fox Broadcasting Co. last month. Landgraf, who will oversee FX and Fox Movie Channel, will report to Fox Networks Group president and CEO Tony Vinciquerra.
