ABSTRACT
This article presents an overview of the publication Withdrawal of U.S. Troops From Korea?, featured in a 1977 issue of the American Enterprise Institute Defense Review. This publication is a good statement of the issue involved in the projected U.S. withdrawal from Korea. U.S. Senator George McGovern defends the policy while General Richard Stilwell, recently retired as commander of United Nations forces in Korea, presents the case for maintaining the status quo.
