ABSTRACT
The article informs that the Naval Institute is proud to announce the selection of author and journalist Robert Timberg as the new Editor-in-Chief of the U.S. Naval Institute's flagship publication "Proceedings of the United States Naval Institute." Bob Timberg has been a reporter and editor for more than three decades. Timberg is the author of the widely acclaimed 1995 book, "The Nightingale's Song," which chronicled the lives of Naval Academy graduates John McCain, James Webb, Robert McFarlane, John Poindexter and Oliver North.
