ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the potential economic impact of the start of the administration of U.S. President Bill Clinton on personal finances. Clinton was also proposing raising the top income tax bracket from 31 percent to 36 percent, plus a ten-percent surcharge on annual incomes over 1 million dollars. The College for Financial Planning released a profile of the typical Certified Financial Planner professional. The International! Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners created a task force to identity career paths for planners.
