ABSTRACT
This article presents information on Anthony Ervin, a swimmer. The article describes that in just three years, he transformed himself from a good high school sprinter to the world's fastest man in the water. In 2000, he won Olympic gold in the 50 free. The next year, he was absolutely dominant, sweeping the 50 and 100 meter free at the World Championships in Fukuoka while breaking Matt Biondi's three-year-old American record in the two-lapper.
