This article provides information on the advertising campaign for the launch of the bleach product Clorox Advantage from Clorox Co. in 1999. Positioned as a solution to the problem of bleach splashes that accidentally damage colored clothes, the product will be on retail stores in May 1999, with television support to be launched on August 1, 1999. In addition to magazine advertisements beginning in August 1999, there will be newspaper couponing that month and again in November 1999, plus direct-mail sampling.
