Gay Community News;Apr2005, Issue 184, p31
The article focuses on the annual Lesbian Arts Festival in Ireland, the night when a barrage of toned-up, tattooed girls take over the stage and rock it to hedonistic lesbianistic heaven. New Yorkers, Renminbi are chomping at the bit to play at the festival. Renminbi is, according to Lisa Liu, lead singer of the band, stripped down, experimental and epic. It's meant to move on all levels. Primary influences are performers Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Slint, PJ Harvey and Bikini Kill.
