ABSTRACT
This article focuses on Jameson Dublin International Film Festival. It's an audience festival and the talk afterwards is always intelligent. People know what they like and what they want to see. So, there is a deliberate attempt to select films which will suit the broad taste of filmgoers in Dublin. There is an embarrassment of riches at this year's Festival. The line-up is packed to the point of bursting with a mixture of Asian, Danish, American Independent and Irish films. In total, there are over 70 movies on show including classics, premieres and a celebration of James Dean's films on this, the 50th anniversary of his death.
