ABSTRACT
The phase transformations and structural evolution of an aluminophosphate cement and a composite corundum material during heating at a constant applied load (creep tests) are studied by IR spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis, x-ray diffraction, and microstructural analysis. The structure of the phosphate materials is found to depend significantly on the testing temperature, applied load, and duration of creep tests.
