Explains that the fiscal crisis the Medicare system in the U.S. is more urgent than the fiscal crisis facing the Social Security system. Estimate on the amount a couple will need in order to cover medical costs in the next 15 to 20 years; Decline in the number of companies which offer retiree health benefits; Decline in the number of retiring employees covered by Medicare; Importance for the country's political leaders to pay attention to the fiscal crisis facing the Medicare.
