ABSTRACT
Reports on the development of a sensor in which each pixel in an image adjusts its sensitivity relative to the intensity of light on surrounding pixels via an algorithm that provides feedback to neighboring pixel. Existence of the sensor in the form of the software Shadow Illuminator.
