In this article Sandra McMichael, president of the Florida Association for Media in Education (FAME) shares information with her readers. She says that 2004 has been a productive year for FAME. FAME's Board of Directors and committees have worked hard this year and their accomplishments will be shared with its members at this year's annual conference in Tampa, Florida. In February 2004 a leadership retreat was held where a vision and mission statement was developed. Work begun at the retreat will continue through out the year as FAME continues to move forward.
