ABSTRACT
The author, in this article, discusses time utilization by elementary school principals. Thanksgiving and Christmas are gone and now people are looking at the relatively unbroken stretch of time before spring break that many principals believe is the most productive time of the year for their students and teachers. This is also a great time for principals to begin focusing on next year's budget and planning for future needs, both for their schools and themselves. The National Association of Elementary School Principals help line is operational and is quickly becoming a favorite benefit of members. Volunteer principals regularly check the help line and respond to questions posed by both new and experienced principals. This new membership service is available to all members at any time, and each inquiry can receive up to five responses that you can then evaluate and use.
