Possibilities to study the a00-f0 mixing amplitude in meson production reactions in nucleon-nucleon collisions are discussed. It is argued that, even without knowing the production operator, it is possible to gain valuable insights from these reactions.

We investigate the rapidity and transverse-momentum distributions of the prompt photon production at the CERN LHC energies considering the current perturbative QCD approaches for this scattering process. Namely, we compare the predictions from the usual NLO pQCD calculations to the color-dipole...

Despite tremendous progress in recent years in measuring single nucleon momentum distributions in nuclei, two-nucleon momentum distributions remain largely unmeasured. Here we report on a measurement of ³He(e,e'pp)n that is primarily sensitive to the two-nucleon momentum distribution and...

We report preliminary results of [lowercase_phi_synonym]-meson transverse momentum distribution in most central 200 GeV d+Au collisions, measured from STAR Experiment at RHIC. For the transverse momentum between 2.5 and 4 GeV/c at mid-rapidity (|y|<0.5), the nuclear modification factor of...

In the framework of percolation of color sources, the transverse momentum distribution in heavy ion andp+pcollisions at all centralities and energies are shown to follow a universal behavior. The width of the distribution depends on the fluctuations of the number of color sources per cluster. At...

The interplay of pQCD, pion exchange and FSI effects is studied for the γγ→π+π- reaction in the region of 2 GeV < Wγγ < 6 GeV. We find strong interference effects between pQCD and soft-pion- exchange amplitudes up to W ∼ 4 GeV. We discuss to which extend the...

We present a critical discussion of the observables that have been recently put forth to describe quarks and gluons orbital angular momentum distributions. Starting from a standard parameterization of the energy momentum tensor in QCD one can single out two forms of angular momentum, a so-called...

Resonances and enhancements in meson-meson scattering can be divided into two classes distinguished by their behavior as the number of colors (Nc) in QCD becomes large: The first are ordinary mesons that become stable as Nc→∞. This class includes textbook qq mesons as well as...

We study anomalous J/Ψ suppression and pt broadening in the model of prompt gluons. The anomalous suppression can be successfully described in this model. The transverse-momentum dependence of J/Ψ suppression in relativistic heavy-ion collisions is calculated from initial-state gluon...

We have performed the first global QCD analysis to include the CCFR and NuTeV dimuon data, which provide direct constraints on the strange and antistrange parton distributions,s(x) and. To explore the strangeness sector, we adopt a general parametrization of the non-perturbativefunctions...
