The article focuses on the 2004 Kentucky Library Association (KLA) Annual Conference and the scholarship recipients. As a result of a year-long collaborative between five KLA round tables, conference scholarships were awarded to five recipients. Financial support for the five scholarships came from each of the participating round tables. Scholarship recipients could attend any of the programs at the Kentucky Library Association Conference. Recipients of scholarship includes Isariya Locke, John Chenault, Julie Ray, Felix Garza and Marisa Neff. Locke has volunteered at the Loman C. Trover Library in Madisonville, Kentucky since September 2003. Garza is head of Public Access Services in the Kornhauser Health Sciences Library at the University of Louisville. Neff is an accounting and business management major at Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, and she is from Honolulu, Hawaii. Ray began working in a public library in 1989 even though her undergraduate degree was in advertising and public relations.
