The article informs about some new drugs and dosage forms. It informs about desloratidine and pseudoephedrine sulfate extended-release tablets. The product is indicated for the relief of nasal congestion and other symptoms of seasonal rhinitis in patients age 12 years or older. Use of the product is contraindicated in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe hypertension, or severe coronary artery disease and in patients receiving monoamine-oxidase-inhibitor therapy or having taken such therapy within the previous 14 days.
