ABSTRACT
The article deals with how children learn to draw and write and what their pictures and stories tell you. Children learn how to think and solve problems from the free exploration of art materials and language. Giving your child time to express herself through art and writing and talking about artistic expression will help her develop communication skills and a deeper understanding of her inner and outer worlds. Helping your child make the connection between art and writing starts with time and space to experiment.
