ABSTRACT
The article presents a list of art projects that children can engage themselves in while they are at home. Some kids love finger paints, but others hate a gooey mess on their hands. If your child resists certain art materials, let him be. Try introducing them again later. Keep a shoebox full of collage materials that you can add to--puzzle pieces, bits of ribbon, game pieces, and corks. Encourage your child to think creatively. Use small plastic squeeze bottles for paint and glue. This way you can buy materials in larger sizes and refill them as needed.
