The article reports that law firms are building and enhancing their security litigation practices with the changes occurring in securities litigation and regulatory enforcement. Arnold & Porter LLP is currently negotiating to hire several partners and their associates from the securities litigation and white collar practice of Thelen, Reid & Priest LLP. These aggressive moves are concurrent with the familiar annual migration of seasoned regulators who eagerly exchange salaries and government issue billets for equity partnerships and swank digs at the top law firms.
