ABSTRACT
The section presents a letter the author wrote to Philip H. Geier, chairman-CEO of advertising agency Interpublic Group of Cos. (IPG) regarding their policies, particularly the allegations against advertising executive Marvin Sloves. IPG has been claiming that Sloves had a role in the loss of the Mercedez-Benz account by its Lowe & Partners/SMS agency. One assumes if Lowe was concerned about Mercedes' interests, it would have found an acceptable successor for Sloves. IPG contends that Sloves breached his agreements by never telling the account was imperiled.
