The article reports that House of Fraser PLC (HoF) has scrapped its Content by Conran displays in all but two stores after the furniture failed to appeal to its core customers. The 2,150 square feet displays will remain in the department store's flagship Birmingham and Oxford Street, London sites, and there is a cursory offering in 11 of the company's 44 other shops. As it stood now, Content by Conran could service around 45 retailers, and any slack would be likely to be picked up by independents. The HoF Content displays have been replaced by HoF's own label Linea Home ranges.
