ABSTRACT
The article reports that Teemo is shifting from manufacturing to importing. It is the latest British company to move production abroad. It is to close its two factories in Bourne, Lincolnshire as part of a move to shift from manufacturing to importing. The company has spent more than a year researching manufacturing partners before making the decision to outsource production to the Far East and Eastern Europe. The changes will enable the company to cut operating costs and expand its production base.
