ABSTRACT
This article reveals that R&R Advertising retained control of the account of Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority in Nevada. According to Brian Morris, president of Dailey & Associates, he dropped out due to concerns about how committed the authority was giving the $27 million to $30 million account a thorough evaluation. The authority's board members maintained open minds throughout the three-month review process and in the end the board was impressed by the presentation of R&R and opted to continue with a five-year plan the agency had drawn up in 1998, according to Donald Synder, president of Boyd Gaming Corp.
