ABSTRACT
This article discusses issues concerning George political magazine, founded by John F. Kennedy Jr. He plans to boost the title's performance in part by hiring high-profile contributors. An editorial team, headed by Executive Director Richard Blow, includes former Clinton adviser Paul Begala and conservative commentator Anne Coulter. He would also like to cut a television deal for the magazine and wants to hire an advertising agency to raise the magazine's profile among both consumers and advertisers. Kennedy also introduced in March 1999 his magazine's new advice columnist, former New York Senator Al D'Amato.
