ABSTRACT
This article reports that the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, have joined forces to increase diversity in the mortgage industry by creating the Mortgage Career Paths education program. The program offers free professional courses to diverse college graduates who are not currently employed in mortgage banking and are serious about entering the mortgage industry after they graduate from college. Delivered through MBA's educational arm, Campus MBA, the program offers qualified applicants a guaranteed pre-application meeting with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
