This article presents information related to Herbert Smith's Dutch alliance firm Stibbe which is relocating corporate and capital markets partner Derk Lemstra to London to head up the firm's City arm. Lemstra, will replace the current resident partner of Stibbe's London office Gerhardt Vels. Lemstra's appointment coincides with Herbert Smith's plans to accelerate the integration of the firm's practices with those of Stibbe. The integration has already resulted in partner secondments between the three firms, and in the future there are likely to be more secondments.
