ABSTRACT
The article discusses about the problem of unemployment in France. The article concentrates the nature of the present crisis and, correlatively, on the kinds of solutions the different positions deem fit to help, if not resolve it, at least, reduce its hardships. It states that there can be no solution to joblessness without a tightening of the social bonds. The crisis of unemployment is inextricably social and economic. Unemployment is prevailing in France because lots of people having strong needs for help and assistance simply cannot afford it. One dimension of the contemporary crisis lies in an insufficient solvable demand for goods and services.
