Online Travel Expected To Continue Growth

This article focuses on the growth of online booking in travel market. Already nearly a quarter of the U.S. travel market, online booking will nearly double in revenues by 2009. Last year's $54 billion in sales will rise to $91 billion in that time, market research predicts. Airline tickets are the largest revenue source within the segment, garnering $23.3 billion in 2004. This is followed by hotels with $11.6 billion.
