ABSTRACT
The article focuses on pulmonary artery agenesis. Congenital absence of a pulmonary artery is a rare who survives to adulthood usually presents with an genogram, few symptoms and a variety of diagnostic condition. A 57-year-old alcoholic female was admitted to the hospital because of biventricular congestive heart failure. She had mild adult onset diabetes mellitus and a 5-year history of labile hypertension, but was on no medication for this. Physical examination revealed an asthenic black female in moderate respiratory distress with a supine blood pressure of 232/124 mm Hg.
