ABSTRACT
The article focuses on some alternative sources of nitrogen. The skyrocketing cost of nitrogen is spurring a lot of interest among farmers in alternative nitrogen sources. There are only a few alternative sources of nitrogen available to farmers. Dry urea is the most concentrated source of solid nitrogen available. It's fairly water soluble. If it is mixed with water at the maximum concentration, 23-percent nitrogen solution is obtained. Broiler litter is another option. Broiler litter is a good source of fertility for cotton.
