ABSTRACT
This article informs that David Byrne, former European Union (EU) commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, has joined the Brussels, Belgium,-based office of the U.S. firm, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr. Byrne joins Wilmer as part-time special counsel. He is also special envoy to the director general of the World Health Organisation. He said that, he will advise on European Community law and how politics works within the EU.
