ABSTRACT
An autopsy case report of salmonella infection (group C2) of an arterioselerotic aneurysm of the aorta is presented. Organisms were seen in tissue sections, recovered from postmortem blood culture and demonstrated in the aneurysm by fluorescent antibody technique. The authors are indebted to Dr. Israel Davidsohn, Dr. John G. Gruhn, Dr. Chang Ling Lee, and Mr. Milton Goldin for their valuable assistance.
