This article reports that a four-wheel drive system and two-person seat option are available on the Kodiak and TopKick C4500 and C5500 model of trucks from General Motors Corp. Designed to meet the needs of forestry, landscaping, utility and other workers, these new trucks can make tight turns in confined areas. The wider front track permits a 53 wheel cut, resulting in a turning diameter as tight as 47 ft. In addition, its sloped-hood design and large windshield provide improved visibility of the job site. The trucks are available in a variety of wheelbases.
