ABSTRACT
Discusses a clinical study of the oral diuretic clopamide. Application of the drug to patients suffering from cardiac decompensation due to valvular or ischemic heart diseases. Experiment procedure for drug dosage and frequency administration; Measurement of hydrogen-ion concentration with electrodes, blood sugar by glucose-oxidase method and heart condition through electrocardiography; Absence of hypotensive reactions in patients; Consideration of changes in sodium chloride, urinary sodium and blood hydrogen-ion concentration.
