ABSTRACT
The article focuses on John Edwards who holds responsibility for Jaguar and Land Rover automobiles in all markets outside Europe and North America having been promoted from global marketing director of Land Rover in May last year. Edwards admits the last four years have been a bumpy ride, but he's managed the global launches of New Range Rover, the 2002 Discovery and the 2004 Freelander. Jaguar's weak sales add to his challenges but Edwards retorts that cars are a long-cycle business and he's confident about both brands' future.
