The article presents an update on the retail store market in Great Britain. PepsiCo Inc. has bought British fruit juice and smoothie brand PJ Smoothies for an undisclosed sum in order to boost its presence in the British premium juice market. Levi Strauss & Co. increased its gross profit by $210m in 2004 and delivered $30m in net profit compared to a net loss of $349m in the year 2003. Coty Beauty has signed a deal with David and Victoria Beckham to develop a Beckham Beauty House featuring fragrances and other products under each of the couple's names.
