The existence of differences in the duration of the various segments of the Achilles tendon reflexogram between 34 normal controls and 16 patients with occlusive arterial disease of the lower limbs was investigated. A kinemometer was used. Definite prolongation in the duration of M-M and of 1.5 for R are compatible with the diagnosis of occlusive arterial disease. The Achilles tendon reflexogram appears to be a simple and useful method to assess the arterial circulation in the lower limbs.
