ABSTRACT
Reports on a study to further investigate the previous observation that exaggerated cold-pressor response may be a manifestation of vascular sclerosis rather than hypertension. Systolic, diastolic and pulse pressure cold-pressor responses; Indication that atherosclerosis, rather than hypertension, may be responsible for the exaggerated cold-pressor response.

In this article the author discusses the future opportunities in vascular pharmacology.
