ABSTRACT
Studies the occurrence of deep venous thrombosis following compression sclerotherapy by researchers from England. Examination on the use of compression sclerotherapy as a method of treating varicose veins; Concerns over the theoretical risk of the injected sclerosant precipitating a deep vein thrombosis; Determination if there was any flow of injected material from a perforating vein into the deep venous system using radiologic imaging.
