ABSTRACT
The angiographic appearances in seven cases of thoracic outlet compression of the subclavian artery are described. The commonest finding was complete obstruction from the distal axillary artery onwards. Slight fusiform dilatation beyond the bony abnormality was frequently seen without evidence of frank constriction of the artery itself. A local block and intraluminal clot were seen once each. Angiography is of value in the diagnosis of this condition.
