ABSTRACT
The article discusses that there was a lot of reclining at the NEC this year. But it is worth remembering that after pounding the 1 million sqft of floorspace at the Furniture Show, any chair will be comfortable, recliners even more so. But there were one or two companies which really did catch the eye. Over in Hall 4, Gavin Douglas, Relaxateeze marketing manager was happy. The company, launched three years ago at the show, has grown its product range again, adding two and three-seater versions of its popular Cortina collection. Hickory Springs, close rival of Leggatt & Platt in the U.S., is still small in Great Britain but looking to grow.
